Joy Medium Tote...Just Received it and not impressed :(

I just got the Joy Medium tote in black and white...ordered it from the sale.

It is a pretty bag...but nothing spectacular. I noticed a few black specs on the bag...seems as though the leather may be peeling...I dunno if this is normal.

My question is...should I return the bag and save for a Louis Vuitton Damier Neverfull MM instead?

Opinions please...I have attached a pic..it is this style but in black and white...

I personally am a firm believer that if you aren't crazy about a designer bag, RETURN IT because they are WAY too expensive to spend that money (even on sale) if you don't love it. Give it the boot!

I was debating between the same exact Gucci tote and the Burberry Novacheck tote. I'm glad I got the Burberry Novacheck tote, because I didn't think the Gucci tote wasn't spectacular. You should def return it!

Hmm just the fact that it seems to be peeling and has specks on it upon arrival seems to me that you should send it back, where did you order it from??

I got that exact bag in the picture (the yellow) and I love it, it's a great summer bag (and I personally just adore the yellow, LOL) but just the fact that it came to you flawed.. something is not right! Send it back and at least ask for a newer/better piece, if not just return it all together.

Guccis should ALWAYS make you feel nothing but *totally* happy! Best of luck

i do think it is a great bag and for a great price...but just thinking of saving my money for something that will last longer and of better quality.

i pre-saled it from the gucci website...so who knows where it was sent from.

I think you should return it and save up for the Neverfull. You shouldn't keep a bag you're not in love with, especially if it already has spots on it and is peeling. Even though the Neverfull costs more it's a great bag!

I think you should return it. If you're not happy with the bag then you won't be using it very much. If you decide that you like the Neverful a lot more then you should save up for it instead.

i vote for returning it as well, just because i think the LV neverfull is a great bag with great style. not to say the gucci tote isn't, but it's a lot plainer in my perspective. plus the LV neverfull has a more classic look and you would be able to use it year-round. the gucci tote might only last you the season.

but i thought gucci presale items are all final sale? unless you bought from NM, Nordstrom, or Saks...

if you don't love it, and can't see yourself using it, then return it. What most likely will happen is the gucci tote will end up in your closet somewhere, remain untouched, and you will end up buying the neverfull that you wanted anyway.... so I vote for returning it, it's a rational decision
