Default How do Gucci outlets get their merchandise?
I purchased a new black bag from the Gucci outlet in Secaucus, but I have never seen it before in the stores. Where do the outlets get their merchandise from?

Yup, they do get bags from both the US and Overseas Gucci stores. I remember some emails from Marissa stating that certain bags just came in from Italy that were never available in the US.

THanks for all the info. I know that some outlets get items made just for the outlets, but I didn't think that this was the case with Gucci.

Hi ladies! I have a question related to Gucci Outlets so I thought I would post it in this thread rather than start a new one. What is the turnover of Gucci from the boutique/department store to the outlet? I have been following Coach for sometime now and I know their turnover from full price boutiques to outlets is on average about 3-4 months, sometimes longer. Does it take a while for a season's style to go on sale or go to the outlet? I am eyeing one of the new variations of the Joy Boston (I attached a pic from the Saks Website). It's new so it's obviously not on sale now, but approximately when would it go on sale? Okay, sorry, that's more than one question. Haha! I'm trying to spread my wings into a new brand and I think Gucci may be it. Any help/responses/PMs would be much appreciated. Oh and I do have access to the Cabazon Gucci Outlet. Anyone have any good experiences from that outlet?

If I were to guess, I would say this wouldn't go to the outlet until January/February after the Nov/Dec sale. If this bag would even go on sale..Just a guess though...

^^Thanks for responding! I'll keep my eyes peeled around the holidays then. If it doesn't go on sale and I'm still diggin' the bag, I may just take the plunge. I do have a Saks within a reasonable distance so I'll stay on the hunt.
