HELP: Where to get Gucci

Hi, I am planning to get a Gucci shoulder bag in Guccissima leather. I can get it either from the US this month or from HK next month. Does anybody know where it is cheaper to get Gucci from - USA or HK? Would appreciate help. Thanks!!!

I am not 100% sure but my bf went to HK for vacation during Christmas holidays and said that Gucci is cheaper in HK in comparison. (I guess mostly because of the sales tax) Which state are you going to? You might want to take the sales tax in consideration too because HK does not have sales tax applied directly to consumers. I hope this helps!

kar is right, HK doesn't have sales tax so they should be cheaper. But besides tax, I think you should also take the conversion rate in considerations, and each bank/credit card have different rates. But if you're paying w/cash, then you don't have to worry about it.

New York. But I think your bf is right. It could be cheaper to get Gucci from HK. :-) I just hope they have a pretty good selection there because I am thinking there are more styles available in the US. (I hope I am wrong.)

Hi, most people are really saying that getting the Gucci from HK would come out cheaper. :-) I guess I would wait next month then. :-) It would also give me more time to think which bag to buy - the loewe napa.aire or a new britt or wave hobo gucci in guccissima. :-)

I am not worried about the selection at HK at all. THEY ARE SPOILED OVER THERE! They have 9 Gucci Boutiques in that city!! I am not talking about the Gucci shops in the department stores, I am talking about GUCCI BOUTIQUES! They also have a good consignment store call Milan Station which specializes in authentic gently used handbags. I hope this helps :)
