Has anyone seen this?

Hey everyone. I live in Hawaii (Oahu) and my hubby was going to buy me this 'horsebit nail' medium boston bag in brown but they didn’t have it in stock. My SA (Waikiki) checked in the system and they only had one left which was a display in New York. She said they have the cream in stock though. I told her that I’ll wait for the next shipment and she told me it will take a few weeks. They sell it online at the Gucci website but they don’t ship to Hawaii and it said on the website that it will only take one to two days to deliver. I don’t understand, the website doesn’t have a long wait time for the ‘horsebit nail’ medium boston bag in brown like other bags which have up to a six month wait list time. For some reason it’s hardly at any Gucci stores in states. Have any of you seen this brown bag at your Gucci store?

I also called to check if they had it in any of the Hawaii Gucci stores today and they don't have it. I called my SA but they said she was helping with a client. The gentleman asked for my name and call back number. What's funny/ (keeping me anxious) is that she didn't call me back. The SA that I was talking to told me that shipment from Italy has been down and postponed for a while to the states. Does anyone know why?

I like the brown one because it doesn’t get dirty easily as the cream. Which one would you prefer?

I haven't been to my local boutique in awhile

but you can try to call up there and see if they have it. Ask for the sales manager [he's my SA] his name is Mark. He is wonderful!! It's the dallas boutique 972.387.3357. Just tell him you're a friend of KK's lolz

I prefer the brown one as well. Yes, maybe try calling one of the other boutiques as gucci lover suggested and see what they say.

thanks 'gucci lover' and 'emald' for your feedback, before i was going to call your SA i called one more time. My SA told me she was off yesterday, but for some reason when i called 2 times, the first time they said she's helping a customer, and the second time i called she just left work. weird? but she said that they have a couple in stock in mainland and that she was going to it on hold for me. I also asked her about the closing and stuff in Italy. She said that the department that ships/ makes the handbags were closed for a while due to something, but now their working full throttle to make up for the lost. Thanks

I really like the white...I have a boston bag with white handles...and its been really easy to keep clean. Nothing like say, LV leather!
Did you have any luck finding it???

I like the white trim too! I think someone posted a pic of the white one and I totally fell in love. I just can't remember now which sticky the pic was posted in.

Hi! I just called the Ala Moana store to see if they had it and the chick was clueless! She was like brown? Like she never heard of the color or something. But she said they have it in white in large? Is there a large size? Their website shows small and medium so I don't know what she was talking about? Oh wells, sorry! I got an Abbey in the off-white color and it is really nice! At first I wanted only the brown, but they only had the white in stock. So I gave in and got the white one. Good thing is not a lot of people carry the white!

hey thanks 'peevenjo' for calling the ala moana store. I just came back from the Waikiki store, my SA said that they would have special order the brown one from the mainland she said that they have a couple in stock and that I would need to pick it up next week. After looking at the white one i decided not to get it. I was hoping the medium size would be smaller and wanted to put it over my shoulder, the handles were to short to put over my shoulder. The SA you were talking to is wrong, they only have it in small and medium, the medium acutually looks like a large though. I decided to get this bag instead. It's a 'pelham' medium shoulder bag in brown. Also with that bag my SA gave me a free cometic case, she said its pink. I would have to pick up everything on the 20th though to get the case so I said I'll wait. She said the case was only made for Hawaii and that they have 75 to give out. =]
