I'm usually on the Chanel forum, but I recently saw this Gucci bag on the PurseBlog and I'm really tempted. I'd appreciate comments from Gucci collectors. I'm looking for a medium large black bag as my basic go-to purse. Don't have any stores in my area that carry Gucci. Thanks!

I have not seen the purse in person but I am not a huge fan of the brocade pattern. I saw this style on gucci.com. If you like it, get it..It looks like a great every day purse and I'd love to see some Gucci in Wisconsin!

I love the bag and am thinking about it - I would presume this is the large version though, does it come in the medium too?

Just checked the Gucci site and they do have this bag in medium.

Can't wait to see these IRL, there are a couple of other versions I like too including the black 'pony' (so long as its not actually pony) - so sleek and sexy.

I haven't seen the Brocade yet IRL but I have seen it in the leather and it looks like a style that will be in for many years to come.

I love the soft stirrup for fall and am planning on buying one myself, just haven't decided on color. If you like the brocade, go for it :)

This is the one I've been considering, the dark brown nubuck. I had purchased a chocolate brown ostrich Gucci hobo a few months back, that I was planning on carrying this fall, but now I'm thinking about selling it to make room for this hobo. There is also a grey version on the Neiman Marucs website that's gorgeous. OP - if you decide to get the brocade, please post pics :)

I like it, but it looks too fancy for me. The pic cocobean1793 posted is more my style

^^ so annoying that the med is available in dark brown suede but the large only comes in a light shade of camel, lovely but not exactly practical.

Ugh, I hate when that happens ...... you find the perfect color but it's the wrong size or the perfect style/size but you don't like the color. Papertiger, do you think they might release the large in more colors? Luckily I think the medium will work for me :)

I know, and isn't is always the way

I do think we will see new colours in both sizes I bet Gucci carry on with this line. The original re-launched Stirrup from A/W was such a hit they sold out in the tan (cuir) and then the black almost everywhere. Now this year, some lusious soft-stirrup versions, it can only be a short matter of time before some delightful holliday and/or the Spring/Summer colours will come out. (I will ask the store-manager for you if you like - but I am not going near a Gucci until late Sept, possibly not till Oct).

I notice that Austrailia has a version the US and Europe don't have and from what I can see the Cuban lamb is not available anywhere but the US

The US probably won't get anymore versions on-line for A/W but I am expecting to see more handbags of all sorts on The European site as the selection for the winter (fashion show) is still very small .

This is definitely one of the nicest bags out ATM, and I don't mean just Gucci
