Wow thanks for the tutorial... everyone should EDUCATE themselves on how to tell the difference between real VS fake! love the pics too, it really helps when someone has a REAL *AND* a FAKE!

If I hadn't actually bought a fake Iwouldn't have known! Knock-offs are getting better and better. I hope everyone is finding this useful.

Thanks for posting this! The differences are so subtle!! It's no wonder that people are fooled by fakes!

Thank you mos for the the updates on fakes vs real. I am a real chicken when it comes to buying designer bags off ebay. Thus I only purchase my bags from flagship stores and end up paying an arm and a leg....sometimes with a kidney thrown in! Thus aside from ebay, how can one get a gucci on a deal without sweating bullets that we might be buying a good fake?

Aside from ebay - which I find VERY risky especially with gucci, the only good deal is the seasonal sale. The forum was a good resource to alert all of us of the website and store sales. There are some members who got very good deals on guccis from NM and Saks.

wow your tutorial is very useful! with that said it makes it easier to spot fakes esp. over the in internet purchases. Thanks!

It is subtle! They are getting that good.! But it is easier when you actually have a fake in front of you and compare it side by side to a real one. You will clearly see the difference.

thanks for all the info this really helps...i'm looking to buy a white blondie and since my only option seems to be ebay, i was wondering if any of you have any tips on spotting an authentic one and what a reasonable price would be, since some of these have BIN options and they tend to fool me....thanks again
