in my classroom at juvi i leave very little out (per safety/security issues). i have lots of cabinet space where i store textbooks and classroom supplies.

sidenote: today i wore a pair of burberry novacheck flats and 2 of my male students commented on them HAHA (i have 5 periods of boys).

What's going on ladies? I know it's only Wednesday but any big plans for the weekend?

We were supposed to go snowboarding but they're saying rain at that pass and boarding in the rain is not fun! So, hopefully it'll be a low-key weekend and maybe I can try to clean the house. I really need to organize my room/closets, declutter, etc. Anyone have any tips in that dept?

My sister, who is a NEAT FREAK, and unfortunately lives out of state... suggested i go to walmart get buy those storage bags for around $6. I went and bought 5 of them to store our off season clothes in. They are in the basket aisle where the hangers and stuff are at. It will be in the same area where they have the over the door storage thingie. But yeah, I thought it was a better idea than storage or crate bins. It takes up a lot less space. Once i get the clothes that I don't wear or want out of the way, I think I'll be ok.

^Omagosh - you do NOT want to see my closet. I don't even go in there any more because it's such a mess. Hehe. I have those storage bag things that you're talking about and yeah, we tried to do our sweaters once and I think we overstuffed the bag because after a few minutes that bag started to expand again. Haha - reminds me of that scene from Confessions of a Shopaholic (the movie). She stuffs all her clothes in those bags in her closet and one day everything explodes.

^^LOL so the bags aren't a good storage solution then? Yeah, my bedroom is a complete mess. My clothes are everywhere and I have a small closet and the room isn't big either

I've been wanting to have a garage sale but i'm so lazy!

^^I'm sure the bags work if you use them correctly - hahaha! Or just use them period.

My whole room is a disaster. I keep telling DH that it would be more organized if I had more space but truthfully - I'd be more organized if I just got rid of stuff.

hey ladies. i have MAJOR cabin fever. my kids and hubby are great,,, but my house is such a mess!! and it's driving me crazy that i can't clean!!!

i'm feeling fine. no pain at all. stopped taking the pain meds on sunday and have only been taking tylenol at night.. i'm pretty swollen but my tummy is flat and i don't look prego anymore :)

mostly just cabin fever now... i want to be normal again and clean my house and hold my baby boy.. but i have to wait at least one more week til i can hold him :(

It's good to hear that you are doing great after your surgery!! very soon you wil be fine!!
