It depends on the school. When I first started teaching, I was at compensatory schools in the poorest areas, so I would just bring my license and keys with me. Not even a wallet because there are a number of kids who sneak into the classrooms and rummage through everything to steal money/cc/bags. One of my students stole a laptop! Anyways, for the past couple of years I was working in a beautiful subdivision and I would bring my bags to school and I never had to lock them either. I would leave them on the counter and never had a problem with anything stolen. I accidentally left my camera on the table before for a couple of days and no body took it. I do find I just have to be careful of not getting my bags dirty with dust.

Hi, thanks for posting. Unfortunately, this was a gift from about 3 years ago. The only proof I have is the Credit Card charge, and they will not accept that because it does not detail this particular handbag. And, yeah, they charged me $20.00 for an evaluation, but never did the eval because they say I need the receipt. This is a Catch-22 situation. Again, thanks for the reply and if you ever hear of any info I can use, please let me know.

i take a backpack. i think my guccis or lvs would be a little flashy for juvi. haha i do alternate between my gucci and lv cosmetic cases though (which stay in my backpack, which is in a locked drawer in my desk)

teaching math to middle schoolers after school pays for my lux items so i know what you mean, SoxFan777!!!

Teachers.... Do you have to leave your bag in a class? Don't you get your own office?? How does it work....? Do you have your own classroom or do you have to move from room to room? I have my own office with a lock drawer (thank goodness) so it is never an issue.

^no office just a classroom but when I working in a special area of special education (mostly administrative and testing), I had an office which was so much nicer.

at juvi- my full-time gig,i just a desk that locks (in my classroom). i share a classroom at the middle school that has a closet that locks where i can leave my backpack.
