I've searched around for a thread about my question but couldn't find an answer. I'm also not sure if this is the right place to post so I'm sorry if I should be posting this somewhere else. I was wondering if Gucci makes more than 1 kind of dust bag. I have 2 Gucci bags & they have different dust bags. Does anyone have a picture of what authentic dust bags should look like? TIA

They recently changed their dustbag to a brown cotton/flannel one. Before that it was a darker color, satin-like with monogram logo on it.

How often do they change dustbags? I have both of these as well but no other kind.

And before that it was white cotton with the Gucci crest on it. By the way. . . .the roll out of the new Gucci sleeper bag has not been uniform around the world. Boutiques used up their supply of old bags before introducing the new ones, so the U.K., for example, was still providing brown nylon bags after most of the U.S. had changed to the brown cotton ones.

I'm pretty sure they went on sale this past summer. You can try calling one of the outlets. There is one in Secaucus, NJ and the one in the Woodbury Commons. I don't know the other one. Good Luck.

The "other one" is the largest, in Cabazon, California.

Hi AnnLagu , it's hard to list names, mainly for a few reasons. Some sellers may sell authentic items, whilst some may sell a mix of authentic and unauthentic items. A perfect example is fashionphille or fashionphile on eBay who is a my poupette verified (or certified? don't know what it's called) member who has been listing fake Fendi spy bags along with authentic LV's on eBay. You can check the Fendi forum as this was reported by another member.

That's why it is risky, in my opinion to have a safe list of good eBay sellers. Someone may sell authentics to gain trust and get on the list and when the trust is gained, they might start popping some fakes into the mix.

Even someone with 1575 posts on TPF who brags about TPF membership on eBay (TPF membership is, of course, open to anyone in the world, without preconditions or pre-qualifications.)
