i found this purse at a thrift store for three dollars, my friend who knows designer bags said it is real and i want to make sure. is there anywhere i can go online to enter the serial number and find out exactly where it came from?

I am new here. Do Gucci bags always have 2 rows of 6 digit code behind the leather tag? I got a Gucci jolicoeur tote bag on Ebay and felt that it's a fake. Please help!

how do you detect a real gucci wallet? do they all have an "R" or registered matk on top of GUCCI Made in italy sign? i got this from my mom 10 yrs ago and still in good condition, nice dark chocolate leather, tri-fold with a huge G logo in front. can't believe i almost sold this on my garage sale for $10. my mom bought it at a duty free shop in guam.

Yes. If they are factory rejects which are sold in pallets or lots. But the seller should make that point clear in their description.

PS....a VERY Important FYI!
Anything can be "authentic" Have you ever noticed the term ..."authentic reproduction" ???
An authentic item could mean that it replicates the original in every way.
Always be specific in asking if it is a "genuine" item.
A lot of ebay sellers are using this as an escape clause and it's legally binding. Just get them to guarantee it's "GENUINE". As a seller of "genuine" brands, I am sick about this. :(
