I bought the Pelham bag from the Gucci boutique in Hong Kong. It’s been 2 years +, but i can still smell the leather! my bag has a zipper with a leather bit. No 'Gucci' stamp on the leather bit. the lining is in dark brown and its like some very high quality cotton lining. There is a serial number (2 rows) on the back of the tag. The Gucci boutique told me that the Gucci fabric is 3 dimensional and if u look at it, there is some sort of 'shine' which u cant see on the fake bags. i know it sounds ridiculous to see a 'shine' in the cotton fabric, but there is. there is also a number (serial number??) on tag of the dustbag.

However, i just bought a Gucci bag from an online store. Everything to authenticate it is there - the dustbag, serial no, 3D fabric, etc. The only thing is that the lining is polyester. Can someone help?? i took the bag to the Gucci boutique in Kuala Lumpur but they couldn’t tell if it was a fake. They said they're not authorized to verify the authenticity of the bags.

Can someone tell me if their Gucci bags came with polyester lining?? Thanks!

Not sure if eluxurybags.net sells authentic stuff but if u are referring to eluxury dot com - then that online store is owned by LVMH and I doubt LVMH would sell fake stuff!

The best you can do is - take some clear + close pic of the gucci tag and the serial number and post them in the thread
