Baby Bardot 1068

Could anyone tell me how I might authenticate a baby bardot that I purchased? The serial numbers on the underside of the inside leather tag read 002-1068, and underneath, 1781. I think the bag is a few years old. It is light brown with a chocolate color brown leather trim, and silver hardware. I've seen a few photos of them, but can't be sure what are authentic bags. Thanks so much!
