recently I bought a pair of sunglasses from Gucci. It came with a card, like a plastic credit card, golden with the words GUCCI on it, and underneath that in smaller letters, "certificato di autenticita" skip a line, then "athenticity certificate card". Turn the card over and it says, "negozio/shop" with a white box for the SA to write in the, then "data/date" with a white box, then "modello/style" and "colore/color" with a white box. Then it says beneath that "il presente certificato attesta l'authenticita del prodatto gucci da vai acquistato" and then in english "this certificate states that you have purchased a genuine product gucci"

The model number was G/G 2985/SD28BN. I bought this from a Duty Free Shop, in the gucci section; After I joined TPF I read a few forums and saw that some members were posting that gucci only uses controllato cards with 0-9 and black gucci autentication cards, but mine is golden.

Does this mean my sunglasses aren't real? If that is the case that is very disturbing.

When we were in Rome in May my husband bought a pair of Gucci sunglasses from the Gucci store there and it came with the same gold certificate of authenticity card. Yours should be real. I wouldn't worry.
