If you happen to still have the tags or reciept from it, I would try to take it back and explain that it's fake, they should refund you however long ago it was. They should not be selling fake merchandise anyways, although it was probably a return where the sales girls didn't know any better. If the store can't do anything for you, maybe headquarters? After all, you paid $40 for it, and that's not right, because you honestly didn't know.

Thanks, I was thinking about this... I dont have the reciept or tags Cause I never keep that stuff. It was actually several months ago, come to think of it, and my first "designer" bag, which of course turned out to be a "fucci" lol.
I'm going to write the company and maybe try to work it out with them. If they aren't having it, I dunno. I'll just get rid of it, I guess. It makes me laugh because I was soo excited when I got it, and then when I took pics of it tonight, after not having looked at it in a while, I thought, "Wow, this really looks like a fake." I don't even know what a fake gucci looks like, but since being on TPF for months, I have a much better idea of what a fake is now than I did when I bought it.
Anyway - thanks for your suggestion. I think I may do that..

I'm glad that it is the only bag I have which I carry doubts about. I'm lucky that the rest of my bags are not by well-known designers and have not been faked (yet).

khlaiyrebear -I agree- I would be very leery of this bag just because the buyer protection is less than the starting bid. But.... it's up to the individual.
