I've never seen the G w/ Circle around it on a tag before. Is that something they can do after the bag is made w/ a hand stamper? Thta's the only thing that worries me.

Well they DO the G with a circle now with the bags that come from an outlet. I don't know why they do this. Sometimes they have both the G and the hole on the tag, like my other bag. The bag shown above is MY BAG and my mom got it from the GUCCI outlet in Switzerland. So no worries.

Great condition for a vintage Gucci, but is it real???
I actually e-mailed the seller asking for better picture of the inside lining and serial#, and she told me the serial# was shown in the last pic. I must be blind, cuz I couldn't find it....

LOL.... you're not blind! but she may be!

i would ask her for more pics of the serial # in close-up. she gave you a distant pic of the leather tag inside but not the serial # up close.
btw, i've never come across this style either...sorry.

Allison: I have a Gucci's bag and another Gucci's small beauty case.
Well, when I bought the bag I had the "controllato card" but not the other paper showed in the auction.
Ask her to have a photo of what's behind the label "Gucci made in Italy", there should be the serial number in a line. At least that's what it is in my bag, while the beauty does not have the possibility to check beside the label... sorry for my poor english!! :S

*Freetoes* : nothing suspicious from the photo but they are not enough. You'd better ask the seller to show you the label inside and the serial number behind the label. Also don't forget to ask for controllato card. The white paper you can see in a photo is the envelope where there is the bill. I got that envelope for my purchase in Gucci's Venice store but not in another one, so that's not really important. However ask for more photos :)

lizlikeshugs: I have the same first bag!! But I have pink details, not orange. You know what is weird in that bag? It was a beauty case, not a bag. It doesn't come with dustbag and it does not have the possibility to look beside the Gucci label inside! I paid it only 180 euro in the January 2005 here in the store of Venice. It was a great deal! :) maybe i can try to post a photo if that may help you?

Do not buy from Designheroutlet on eBay. The bags appear to be real on the photos, but when you compare it in person with a real one it's plain to see.

Gorgeous bag, looks good to me. The only thing I can't confirm if the little charms are legit, and the seller didn't show a picture of the serial number. Other than that, looks good to me.
