and deja, i wish i could help you out, but i don't know enough about the horsebit to tell whether yours is real or not...2 tell-tale signs of fake gucci's though are: 1) if the inside zipper pull is metal, not leather & 2) if there's a cell phone pocket inside the bag

Hi Ladies! I called the Gucci store and had them look at the Medium Tote for me! :) They said there is 1 zip pocket w/a leather pull and a cellphone pocket! :) So I feel a little better about it. If anyone has any other info let me know. Thank you for all your help. :)

i bought a gucci hobo from the gucci boutique in the galleria dallas that does have a cell phone pocket at least itsure looks like its a cell phone pocket, but my other gucci does not have one. its the brown monogram hobo with a red and greed strap. its mediom size (the only size they made it in i think.) it definitely is real- straight from the gucci store with a cell phone pocket.

neither of my 2 authentic gucci's have cell phone pockets, but they're both from 2004 (the tom ford era)...i've also talked to friends & other people on PF who said the same thing...it must be something they started adding after that year

The auction claims authenticity, but then says you have to have written documentation from store manager that it's fake and I don't think they will do that. This is a red flag right? Their LV items up for sale look authentic to me but i don't know anything about gucci.

I'm thinking fake because when you look at the serial number, it's not aligned straight. Does anyone have any gucci's where the serial # is like this??? Any opinion please???!!

My Gucci Medium Shopper Tote also has a cell phone pocket inside - it's from 2005/2006. It's been authenticated at a Gucci store.
