IMO it's fake. The GGs are not symmetrical (far left compared to far right). But wait to hear from other experts

these bags can be kinda tricky to authenticate and her feedback is great so I would ask for pics of the bottom to see if everything lines up and the serial # on the inside

overall I say authentic until proven otherwise

Hi there

I just bought a Large Guccissima Horsebit bag and received it with dust bag, controllato card and the white little care booklet. There are a few dodgy things about it...one being that the black card with care instructions seem to have two words misspelt , "materials is materias" and easily is "eaily". The bag itself has 2 line serial number behind the leather Gucci Made in Italy tag with 6 numbers on each line. Does the serial number itself give it away as real or fake? It is 114900 then second line is 213317...

Sorry but that sounds really fake. Did you buy off eBay? I'd contact the seller and try and get your money back. We can also check out a completed auction if you post it.

I dont believe they made this bag in red and the spacing and size of the GGs on the dustbag look much bigger than they are on an authentic dustbag

also check dustbag for a white tag that says Gucci and has the trademark symbol (though some fake this also)...some fakes don't tend to this detail since it is a dustbag

I've been told the bag was bought in Italy and one other person thinks they saw it in red over there. I'll check out the dustbag as soon as I get it. What a pain - I actually have never bought a gg bag on eBay because I was worried about fakes, but my mom loves red so I got tempted....

I have this bag with the green/red/green stripes and black monogram with gold horsebit and chain. The serial is top 131471 bottom 002122. Also the gold snap closure (on the body of the bag not the flap) has "Gucci made in Italy" on it. Hope this helps!

This seller has bad feedback for selling fakes - check them out on toolhaus.org.

Also if you really want to be safe you can buy from the Gucci, Saks, Bergdorf's or Neimans websites.

There are some Legit sellers on eBay, you just have to be careful. Check the pricing first. Some guides to pricing:

1) If the material is Leather then the price range should be around
$500-$1000 or over depends on the seller if it is used or not and the style

2) If the material is other than leather, that would be a bit tricky.
I've seen real ones sell for $300 and up and not below $200, except if it is a vintage one with lots of wear, also of course the style of the bag and whether if it is used or not.

3) Before you buy the Best bet is to go here and POST the pics and we can help you.
