Anyone have the Gucci Lucy Clutch?

I've been jonesing for a nice classic clutch for a while and am eyeing the Gucci Lucy Clutch in Grey.

Funny you should mention it, because I just bought a Lucy clutch last week!

I love it in both grey and green. In particular, the solid grey leather version (not the python) got a lot of buzz on some fashion websites and I think it might have sold out online. I bought it in black because I really needed a black clutch. I'll be doing some traveling over the holidays, and I plan on taking my black New Jackie to use for day and this clutch to use for night.

I've learned that the fall/winter Lucys in grey and green are actually the "Large Lucy" and measure 13" across. I was surprised when I got mine in black (which was listed under "classics" on gucci.com) and it was smaller, only 10" across. Still I like it and I'm going to keep it. Another difference is that mine has a suede tassle, which contrasts nicely with the calf body. It only holds the bare essentials. I think the larger size would be more practical and you could use it as both a day and evening clutch.

Wow, what a perfect little clutch (I think I also need a clutch) This will be great for travelling and for those day-to-evening quick changes no matter what your wearing.

Thanks Cosmo! I was not aware there were 2 sizes. Yes, the SA at Gucci told me the grey is available in limited quantities. I'll have to go back and check the smaller size as I am positive I played with the larger size. I love the clutch, simple and clean and the leather is so buttery!

As I said, the small size holds just a few essentials for evening--basically just my iPhone, credit card/ID, a few bills, keys, lipstick, compact. (No room for even a small wallet or cosmetic case.)

I'm not sure, but I think the green and grey only come in large, and the black only comes in small????

EDITED TO ADD: Oh, and ijmoran, the grey is really stunning. If I didn't already have a silver clutch I would have jumped on it!

Beautiful clutch -- I love the touch of bamboo on it too - adds a really nice detail! I have to say I love that green color -- might have to keep an eye out for that one especially if it comes in the larger size!
