There are two sizes of the hobo, the medium, and the large. The large has a lot more space underneath the horsebit (from horsebit to bottom of bag) than the medium does. I'd def go for the medium. It's still not smaller than the boston width wise, but I think the depth of the bag makes a ton of difference. I think the reason I feel awkward with the boston is because of the depth. If it wasn't so big depth-wise, I think it would probably be great. It just makes it really awkward as a shoulder bag.

I'm 5'9" so the whole too big thing is probably just in my head. I just feel silly with a huge bag, because I've never carried a bag so big before. (This is the same reason I had to part with my britt boston, my other favorite bag but just too big for me.) I'm not used to it. Love the bag though, it is insanely gorgeous. And the leather is SOOOOOOOOOOO unbelievably soft and smooth! I can't get over it.

I have my eyes peeled for a medium hobo! I'd be interested, though, to see more modeling pics of the medium size than what is on the forum right now. It looks like the handles where they connect to the bag are really gappy and make the bag kind of gape open.... is that true? Does anyone have problems with their medium 85th hobos? I don't want to make a terrible mistake! lol

P.S., all 4 outlets are completely wiped out right now. How horrible. The one in Texas had the python and a red print one, that's it. Bleh.

I am so jealous! The red Guccissima on the boston is divine.
I feel the 85th anniversary bags are some of the best bags Gucci has come out with. It's such a shame they were discontinued...

Yes It's a sad day when we get "the bag" and donīt like it, but sometimes it help when I have looked at it in a couple of days, so it was with my "Signoria" - now I really like this bag.

Sorry you donīt like your new bag, to me - It looks really good on you - not big but only nice.

But if you donīt like it then sell it.

itīs to expensive to have bags we donīt like.

Yes queen asli you said it best, it's way too expensive to keep things we don't love. Unfortunately I do love it but I shouldn't have boughten it to begin with, with a wedding to pay for. This is why it's such a hard decision. I really love it and I did get it for a great price... maybe I should keep it just to hold on to it for a while, maybe I will grow into it? Or maybe it will go up in value? I just don't know. Very hard decision! Half of me says KEEP IT you will regret it if you sell it and no longer have one, especially if you can't find the color again, and another half of me says SELL IT you need money now for the wedding and for moving soon. But then I think "well I can sell OTHER things to make up for it, and keep this one can't I?"... and THEN I think "but will I USE this one???"

It never ends!!!

The more I think about it, the more confused I feel I get as to what to do.

LOVEPINK thanks so much haha. I practically LIVE in pink sweatpants during the summer while I babysit (last summer babysitting for me, done when they go back to school at the end of August! Then it's time to attempt to find a job although everyone is having a REALLY hard time doing that around here.) They are so comfy and cozy. Hehe.

You girls are really making me want to keep her haha. I'm mainly scared that I won't find the hobo in the mystic white leather color... I love the color.

Maybe I should hang on to it until I try out a hobo... I'd be really upset if I got rid of it, then got a hobo, and then ended up not liking the hobo hahaha. That would be a mess.

You guys are going to be frustrated... lol... I just tried it on tonight after taking every last bit of stuffing out, and after I had put actual clothing on and a little makeup and didn't look like I just rolled out of bed.... and I LOVED IT!!!!!!. Now I am even MORE confused. I got it for around 910 dollars--I'll never get an authentic one that cheap in the white leather again, will I? Should I really keep it? Is it a wise investment?????? I'm nervous.

Def keep it!!! It's a classic bag that will NEVER go out of style. And the bag is just beautiful I'm totally jealous and wish I had one. I need a white leather bag and this would be perrrfect. Take a pic of yourself all dressed up with it, im sure you still look fab... just like you did in your pink sweats

I purchased the 85th hobo first, then I returned it day after... it's too small for me ( I think) and it looks weird on me. And please remmeber I am only 5'2...but it's not comfortable look!
