So, if I were you, I'd keep the bag I use the most - possibly the flap? I think it's just as gorgeous as the bowler, btw! ![]() The bowler is probably in higher demand on eBay/Bonanzle, so if you're looking to get a decent profit on the sale, I'd say the bowler would be your best bet to sell. Unfortunately, I've been seeing flaps not get their full value on eBay lately... ![]() Good luck with that tough decision! I'm in a similar situation - I have the black striped tote and the black striped doctor's bag, and I'm finding that I use the tote more...but I'm reluctant to sell either, lol! However, I would sell BOTH of them if I could find the bowler!

Gigi, we must be on the same time schedule, lol!!!!!
![]() We gave you two different, opinions, IF, lol - she's right on, though, on the bowler being "the Holy Grail." You can't deny it - that white bowler will forever be a Gucci icon. Maybe, we could get some more opinions??? Anne? Stephanie? GO? gucci lover? HM? <--- although, I can probably bet that HM will tell you to keep the bowler, lol!

I like both bags, but for me the hobo works well ... I know strange. The white bowler is a "HG" ...

^^^ luv4bags, that was my thinking, as well, on this one. I also know how much IF likes pristine bags, and her flap is in such great shape!
Ugh, such a tough choice! ![]() Anne, I wish I could snag that red flap! It's beautiful! I REALLY want the red bowler, though, and that's the reason I hesitate to let DH know that I really want it ... I really wanted that red flap! I'm so angry with Auction Raptor!

I know its a hard choice. LV is right I like new bags and the white hobo is new I think the person I bought it from used it once or twice. It still has the plastic on the GG hmmm. I have not used either yet since I bought them in winter. The white bowler is not really bad but I like them perfect. I need to call Gucci about it and see how much to touch up handles and corners. I am going to send my black bowler in for some new GGs soon. It still looks perfect but love shiny GGs |

IF: I know what you mean about getting a bag that is totally new. I have never been lucky enough to find a Blondie in mint condition like yours!! Most of my holy grail bags are second hand, and I have spent additional money on restoring them to glory. Have you gotten a quote from Gucci as to how much it may be? Anne |

i am very anal with my bags as well and would love to have every one of them near perfection. i also have a tendency to baby them and very seldom place them on floors, grass, concrete, etc (basically anywhere they could come into contact with something and have it ruined, scratched or soiled). i guess i am a little more biased to the bowlers as they provide more room for me and my many things. i hope you can touch your bowler up at a Gucci boutique. good luck with your decision

if i were the seller, i would definitely bring the price down (much, much lower than $1000) so additional funds can be used toward its restoration by the buyer. |
