Hey girls........I got my WHITE BOWLER!!!!!!!!

I just don't know how to contain myself! I did not receive it yet-it ships on Saturday. Now can I ship this to Gucci or do I need to take it in person to get cleaned? I don't have a Gucci near is why I ask. Thanks for everyone's help on here-you girls are pursefect!

Exactly how dirty will it be?? It may not be worth the risk, because Gucci doesnt clean anything, they send it out. Some people have had horrible experiences (remember the treasure boston that got ruined).

I'm sure they'll send it to some place that won't ruin the bag. Everything will be fine.

The bag has the usual dirt marks nothing major according to the pics. I will list them here. Is it not possible to wipe off myself with a cleaner say from Coach or something?

Anne (windycityaj) used Coach leather cleaner on her white blondie flap and reported good results! Hopefully she'll be around soon and can give you some tips...

I can definitely vouch for the Coach cleaner and conditioner!!! Looks like your bowler had approx. the same amount of surface dirt....if it's deeper than that then you may want to just take it in for an examiniation and estimate at Gucci. It's not cheap ($300 or maybe more), but who cares?!!! It's totally worth it for such a wonderful bag!!!!! Let us know more when you see the bag up close!!

Anne

P.S. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

Congratz Jenn2181! welcome to the 'club'!!!.....in regards to the cleaning, I suggest you call Gucci USA 1-800 number...ask for the address and phone number of their repair center located in Syracuse, NY...it was listed before in their old webiste, but I can't find it anymore...

I'm glad the Coach thing worked for Anne...but be very carefull...I tried to clean my white blondie hobo once with a Coach cleaner (small spot) and it got ruined!...Please consider the Gucci repair! you won't regret it...

If you deal with the repair center directly...you must enclose a letter along with your bag and send on a certified/insured package..Please say that you got the bag from your dear husband back on 2004 and don't have the receipt anymore...shoot a few compliments to Gucci...he,he...blah, blah......then they will inspect the bag and send you a letter with an estimate....Good Luck!!!

^^^^^Thanks so much for the info HM.....again, if there is any doubt...please take it in for sure!!! You have an absolutely beautiful bag that you wouldn't want to risk ruining. My bag had only slight surface dirt which easily came off...it's yours is more extensive take HM's advice and let Gucci do the work. can't wait to see modelin' pics!

Hi everyone, I know this belongs in the authenticate thread but I wanted the blondie experts to look at this.

Someone on this forum is insinuating the blondie I am selling is fake but it isn't, could you confirm that it is indeed authentic. The serial number is in the auction description.

Here's the link:

Thanks in advance.

Hi there..your bag looks authentic to me...but this is just my personal opinion, you must discuss further in the authenticate thread..Additionally, please be reminded that you can't post links to your own auctions!....

Good Luck,

Good Luck,
Thanks for that , I didn't know you couldn't do that.

I almost fell off my chair when I read the post about my bag.

I really wanted the blondie girls to have a look as they are knowledgeable in this particular style.
