Suede brush and bar

Does anyone use a suede brush and/or bar on their shoes and find it helpful? I have some suede shoes and also black Uggs that have become faded despite cleaning them. I wasn't sure if using a suede brush or bar would help in that regards. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I just bought the same thing a few days ago because a piece of banana fell on my shoe. I used the bar and brush and it removed it completely. That was the first time I wore the shoes, so I don't know if it will continue to work once the shoes have faded.

i've tried this myself. it doesn't work very well on faded shoes.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I've heard of people taking suede shoes to a shoe repair shop to have them "restored." Not sure how effective that is, but I might look into that.
