Texured TIGHTS VS STOCKINGS...Im challenged!

Im fashion challenged when it comes to stockings..I have only worn sheer nude ones.Im dyin to get some cool patterned ones..What is in for fall?????
Like for example..I have a cute long sleeve casual Splendid v neck dress...What should I wear to funk it up with black Jimmy Choo heels or with my high black Prada bvoots?
Thanku in advance for your advice..This is one area I really need help in!LOL!

For me, I tend to stick to black pattern tights for a leg slimming effect. Either vertical stripes, chevron

I actually like the DKNY tights. I think you should go with something that is somewhat transparent instead of completely opaque. I am actually looking for tights like these to go with a sweater dress and knee high leather boots!

I LOVE textured black stockings with LBDs. So cute! I just saw a TON of them at Ross. They were Calvin Klein, more sheer like stockings rather than tights. They had pinstripe, dotted and diamond. They were all only $2.99! I love CK hosiery so I bought 4 pairs!

Kohl's brand Apt 9 makes some thicker ones that are more like tights. Those are good too and also CHEAP.

HUE is my favorite brand. They have such a wide range of colors and materials and the quality is excellent. I don't know what color splendid dress you have but here are my favorite combos.

Try cream colored tights w/ tan boots. Great w/florals or fall colors.
Try fluorescent/really bright colored tights w/ knee/calf high boots w/a black outfit. (that little bit of color just pops when you only show a little)
Try black tights w/ a white outfit.

Printed tights are very tricky so I stay away.

Another FYI. If you have tights that you really love, you should buy 2 and I'll tell you why. I had some tights that I really liked, wore them with my boots, and now....well, the rubbing up against the boots kinda ruined the tights so now, I can't wear them w/heels. I can only wear them with boots now. Another way to avoid this is if you put on thicker socks outside of your tights when wearing boots as an extra layer of protection. HTH.
