data code on neverfull MM

this is the code for a friend of mine who bought from singapore: AR3057

so that's made in france, 3rd week of may 2007? is that right?

oh it was mentioned that most neverfull's data codes are SD, but this is AR so it was made in the same country but different factory?

Slight correction: It's called a date code, not a data code. ;)

That date code would mean that the bag was made in France on the 35th week of 2007. There was a date code format that took effect immediately in January of 2007. Instead of date codes being read as month/year, they are now read as week/year.

I mentioned that most date codes for Neverfulls that I have seen online are made in USA [the SD prefix]. AR means that the bag was made in France, which is ok.
