Be & D Ava bag: Can you wear it on your shoulder?

Apparently, this bag has a 5" drop...can it be worn on the shoulder? Does anyone have any opinions on this particular bag? Thanks!

I had a black Ava bag last January and was able to wear it over the shoulder. While the dimensions say this bag as a 5" drop, the way the bag is structured makes the bag fall nicely so the bag actually has a longer drop. I loved the bag, but returned her b/c one of the bottom leather loops broke and I thought for that money, the quality should have been better and that should have not happened.
