HELP! UK dress sizes compared to US sizes?

Hey everyone! I need your help. There's a few dresses I'm thinking about ordering from ASOS.com but I'm a bit confused with the sizing. In US size I'm normally a 1-3 depending on the material. I'm pretty short but not quite skinny. My pant size range from 3-5 and my tops are usually a small or medium, also depending on the material. I can't really tell if I'm a 6 or an 8 in UK size. Please help!

round the number up so that its even and then add 2. id go for a size 8 if i was you. there sizing is pretty good.

You could probably get away with a UK 6 if the item has good stretch in em, but an 8 for the best fit in general.

You'd be a UK 7 -9 (you add 4), but we don't generally do odd sizes, so a UK 8 - 10:

I went the opposite way--from knowing about UK sizes to learning about US sizes. It sounds like you are definitely a UK 8-10. 6 is really tiny. Good luck!
