Please don't get me wrong about my eye result with Dr Kwon. I am not satisfied because my eye look too natural and did not look like I had eye surgery done. I mean my eye has not improvement . I would like my eye crease more good define. My crease had faded and the crease has sprit in the end. Dr Kwon did agree for my revision double eyelid. I am going to Korean btw 1-9 April 14. Not that I have been to Wonjin but from what I read and heard, the doc there is not very good with eyes. A lot of complaints with the results from what I read from the forums. Also, post-op is horrible from what i hear.
I would be careful about which glowing positive reviews on Wonjin are actually sincere and not some guerilla marketing ploy. I have had suspicions about some posts regarding Wonjin. Anyway, I fell victim to this clinic and I just want you to be careful when you get there. I felt comfortable with them at first and trusted them. This is how the clinic sucked me in. I finally realized their true colors and how horrible this clinic was after my surgery was finished. My point is is that any clinic can lie and represent themselves as something they are not when you see them in real life. I was lied to and told that the doctor who would work on me was an eyelid specialist. He was not; I later found out he was very young and inexperienced and specialized in breast reconstruction only..NOT the face. In reality, he had NO idea what he was doing and it shows on my face every day. Wonjin has done nothing to help, denies any responsibility, and has tried so hard to cover up my reviews (and likely countless others) and anything that makes them look bad in the public eye.
im so sorry u had to go through that.what turned out wrong with your surgery?I am a Singaporean uni student who visited Wonjin. I am currently in Seoul on university exchange. Even though i requested for a consultant via email (even mentioned that i was willing to pay more), i was assigned to a surgeon that was not listed on their website as part of their medical team. I have emailed them. But unfortunately i have paid the deposit.
How do u advise i go about this problem. The Doctor's name was Jo Min Su. Anyone heard about him before? My scheduled surgery date is in June and I'm freaking out now. Your advice is appreciated.

As someone who went to Wonjin last fall, I can say that it's a really mixed bag. They have so many doctors that you really can't say it's "good" or "bad." A lot of people get eyelid surgery there and turn out great. I wasn't such a fan of my eye doctor -- she did an OK job (no scars, thank God!), but did not listen to me at all and ignored my instructions. My rhinoplasty surgeon was great (I think he did as good as anyone could given the challenges I had -- namely, a flat and wide nose with exceptionally thick skin). It's just a very mixed bag. I don't even know the name of my rhinoplasty surgeon. Aftercare was literally non-existent.

He did not do a bad job but I think the communication could have been better.
It had been two months after surgery so I will wait longer.

I always wanted to get my eyes done, because unlike most people they only struggle with single eyelids, I have been struggling with a double and single eyelid for years. If I don't wear eye makeup people will ask me why are you other eye drooping down, or asked why are you eyes so weird. Since high school I have been wearing eye makeup....I never left the house without eye makeup.... and the only way to even out my eyes are eyelashes. They can actually lift up your eyelids and creating a crease, however after wearing eyelashes for over 6 years I started to see my eyelids are getting smaller and have been sagging. Do you guys recommend me to get my eyes done? Roughly how much would it be? (I live around NYC). What are the different type of eyelid surgery? Can I just get one eyelid done?

You can get one eyelid done but why not get both? Then your eyes will be more even and creases more defined as your double eyelid eye looks to have a puffy undefined crease (to my untrained eye), which was what I had before surgery too. Now my eyes are like your after makeup pic when I wear makeup. It's up to you but I wanted surgery on one eye at first but two is better for symmetry reasons

My double eyelid on my left eye is not as defined as i wanted but after makeup the crease is very obvious, however i really wished but eyes have a defined crease even when i wear zero makeup. How much did you paid? How long is the recover time? Can i wear eye makeup after a month? Will the line be visible? because my friend did her eyes before and i could see her lines on her eyelids and she told me her surgery failed..... I think you can do non-incisional which isn't really surgery since its only stitching and heals the fastest, is the cheapest but can also become undone. I did partial incision which is a few holes and stitches and there's also full incisional which takes the longest. I paid 1.32M krw at Item clinic and so far I'm pretty happy with my eyes but my right eye is more swollen >.<
My "line" from partial incision just looks like a deep crease, and I wore makeup after a week but not on the incisions, just lashes and eyeliner. Like you, I wanted defined creases like with my makeup look when I'm not wearing makeup. My creases are pretty deep and high, so I'm hoping it'll drop a bit more.
I don't think the surgery was painful at all!! I heard the shots are painful but thank goodness at Item plastic surgery they give you sedatives then you sleep for 5 mins and they give you your eye shots when you're asleep so there's no pain. After the surgery there's no pain either and you only feel some tugging on your kids during the surgery but while healing it doesn't hurt, just so swollen and ugly lol
