It's interesting - that all came from TIFF's official press release:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/tiff-prod/p... FILM FESTIVAL GUESTS_original.pdf?1345554199
Note that Skars is on the second list, noted as "guests expected to attend", which is a long list of actors. Actors/film people's publicists give the go-ahead to put them on the list, so it's no skin off their teeth if they're on there, it just helps promote their work and the festival. He has two films there, so maybe he'll get a break and get to go. Since he doesn't seem to be working on the weekend (hence his movie outings), maybe he can make WMK. Time will tell....
well we are getting the calvin klein video today at 8pm al least some good news will see about tiff i dont get what else he has to do besides filming hidden that he cant go i mean they are in the same country.
@BagBerry: thanks for the link.
So, ETonline is alowed to show the full ad-clip prior the official ad launch? Cool!
I love film noir and both Alex and Lara Stone are looking very good in it......but still I'm not sure if I like this 'mini movie' .....maybe I need to see it a few more times and the campaign as a whole to make my mind up
I agree with this. It shores up interest for the media too, and gives the festival a bit of clout to have people on the lists.
Because Hidden might have a really small budget and holding up a production for one person is not really cost effective or wise? That said, it depends entirely on the shooting schedule and the goodwill of the producers to let him off for the festival. Most are gracious enough to do it, but again, depends on his obligations to the film.
Thanks Bag
I think I liked the teasers yesterday better than the full-length feature in all honesty. I got a highly-paid male-escort vibe rather than what I was hoping for ie an updated, noir-ish version of the scene (or at least the atmosphere) between Kathleen Turner and William Hurt in Body Heat.
That, or he was a pizza boy with a dark side and a forgetful nature. (hey, even models have to eat!)
Seriously, it was just ok for me. He did look seriously gorgeous though. hmmm...maybe I need to watch it again.....

Recent film credits include Battleship directed by Peter Berg and Melancholia directed by Lars Von Trier. He worked with his father, actor Stellan Skarsgård, on the animated film The Moomins.
o/t but Prince Harry is going to be in so. much. trouble. Granny will not be amused. Skars' drunken nudity looks amateurish by comparison.
Well at least we know the carpets match the drapes....Prince Hot Ginge indeed. The Queen will definitely be rattling the pearls at him. In all seriousness, he's very naive, especially in the age of ever-present mobile phones, to act that way.
Thanks for the update Santress. I agree its great exposure for him. I guess I was looking for something else in the short film, but it fits the vein of the rest of the CK advertising and its gone over pretty well.
