@BagBerry: thanks for the link.

So, ETonline is alowed to show the full ad-clip prior the official ad launch? Cool!

I love film noir and both Alex and Lara Stone are looking very good in it......but still I'm not sure if I like this 'mini movie'.....maybe I need to see it a few more times and the campaign as a whole to make my mind up

It's interesting - that all came from TIFF's official press release:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/tiff-prod/p... FILM FESTIVAL GUESTS_original.pdf?1345554199

Note that Skars is on the second list, noted as "guests expected to attend", which is a long list of actors. Actors/film people's publicists give the go-ahead to put them on the list, so it's no skin off their teeth if they're on there, it just helps promote their work and the festival. He has two films there, so maybe he'll get a break and get to go. Since he doesn't seem to be working on the weekend (hence his movie outings), maybe he can make WMK. Time will tell....

I agree with this. It shores up interest for the media too, and gives the festival a bit of clout to have people on the lists.

well we are getting the calvin klein video today at 8pm al least some good news will see about tiff i dont get what else he has to do besides filming hidden that he cant go i mean they are in the same country.

Because Hidden might have a really small budget and holding up a production for one person is not really cost effective or wise? That said, it depends entirely on the shooting schedule and the goodwill of the producers to let him off for the festival. Most are gracious enough to do it, but again, depends on his obligations to the film.

Thanks Bag

I think I liked the teasers yesterday better than the full-length feature in all honesty. I got a highly-paid male-escort vibe rather than what I was hoping for ie an updated, noir-ish version of the scene (or at least the atmosphere) between Kathleen Turner and William Hurt in Body Heat.

That, or he was a pizza boy with a dark side and a forgetful nature. (hey, even models have to eat!)

Overall, it was just ok for me. He did look seriously gorgeous though. hmmm...maybe I need to watch it again.....

They'd have to give him Friday off, since it's a 4 1/2 flight nonstop from Vancouver to Toronto. So they might be able to work it out, and I hope they do, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't like it either. But I didn't like it from the beginning since they released the first image. Oh well, it helps putting his name out there and earn some F*ck You money.

CK spelt his name wrong the circle on the A is on the wrong A.

If you want to be anal about it they're writing his name wrong for years now by just leaving out the circle. Now they at least try to put the circle on one A even though it's the wrong one. As tumblr would say "You tried". I guess it gets his panties as much in a twist as leaving out the circle at all.

Thanks, Jooa, Bags & Free.

Free, you'r making me giggle me with the pizza boy comment.:P I would have preferred something more in the vein of Body Heat too but yep, he does look gorgeous and it's a really good contract in terms of visibility and I imagine money too. Beats Hickey Freeman and he sure does look good in Calvin Klein.

o/t but Prince Harry is going to be in so. much. trouble. Granny will not be amused. Skars' drunken nudity looks amateurish by comparison.

Well at least we know the carpets match the drapes....Prince Hot Ginge indeed. The Queen will definitely be rattling the pearls at him. In all seriousness, he's very naive, especially in the age of ever-present mobile phones, to act that way.

Thanks for the update Santress. I agree its great exposure for him. I guess I was looking for something else in the short film, but it fits the vein of the rest of the CK advertising and its gone over pretty well.

Not really the smartest thing for him to do, he does seem to forget almost everyone's got cameras now. Which considering he was literally born into the media spotlight is sort of odd. Maybe he just likes to forget that's he's The Spare. OTOH, this has made Michael K's year.

Maybe if we're lucky they'll do another, slightly less cheesy one. Perhaps they'll spell his name correctly.

Hi Everyone~
Just visiting from Joel's thread and I see that you all are having alot of fun over here. And I must say that Alex's pics of late are very nice. A very handsome man.

Always, totally OT but I'm piping mad about Joel's GF's disparaging comments on Letterman about Sweden. First, as a fellow American, I hate to see ignorant Americans popping off about the problems with people from "other countries" coming to the U.S. having an opinion about us, including our politics because we do have a long way to go on that front. Our country is based on free speech and that includes everyone, sweetie! And her sarcasm about her trip to Sweden. It's makes us more cultured Americans look ugly too, when we don't feel the same way. I know this was probably meant for Joel to hear specifically because they're in a fight or whatever, but I just wanted to say this cause I love my Stockholm-born friends here in Seattle so no one messes with Sweden! :nogood::lecture: Hee hee! She's like Beige to me. Thank you for reading my catharsis! I'll be back to pop in about Mr Alex (Seattle isn't too far from Vancouver) and come check in with us, too!

Thanks, Free.

I'm out of the loop on PH and OM.
Is TMZ the only outlet that has the photos or are there uncensored ones too?
What did Olivia say about Sweden?
