Ok - seeing the one on Yoogis has confirmed that the inconsistencies I mentioned previously appear to be consistent within the style, which would suggest that the pink one is probably authentic. I's always easier to compare apples with apples when doing this. I'd always rather give a false negative than a false positive. Looks like Carol is correct on this one.

I bought this bag on ebay and the seller said it was authentic Prada. I went ahead and bidded but I became unsure, as I couldn't find any photos online of any authentic prada bags in this model. All I saw online were fakes. After receiving it, I am even more confused as some details on the bag doesn't fit -e.g. the bag's hardware does not have prada initials inscribed, which is what I expected since my other prada bags have them. The leather tab also doesn't have the bag's datecode imprinted on the reverse.

Is it possible that this model is quite old and thus those details are different from the bags sold more recently? I tried to take as many photos as possible using my DSLR. Would really appreciate opinions in this matter!
