hey has anyone heard anything from Artts lately?? i think she should have her rhinoplasty done by now... i would love to hear how her experience with dr.wang was. quite anxious to hear an update from her.
My nose has definitely improved alot from my last semi-botched nosejob. But my alar was still a bit uneven after the surgery (I had this problem after last surgery), after a week when the stitches were removed, I went back to the clinic and told receptionists that I wanted to meet Dr Jung to discuss a problem with my nose, I saw him after a short wait and he agreed to help me fix my alar problem right the next day (just a small surgery done with local anesthesia in 30 minutes) . I can say so far im pretty happy with my nose after the 2nd surgery, its still big and swollen but I can see the improvementskitkatbar,
omg, congrats on going through with it bravely! i can't believe i'm still stuck in contemplation! hope your healing is going well and can't wait to hear about your results! hope you like it?!!
hugs!
Hey, sure - the more the merrier. I'll send you a message later. My tickets are already booked! I have a few days for sightseeing/walking around before I have surgery at VIP. So we can definitely meet up! What day do you think you'd be arriving into Seoul?
Even if you aren't considering VIP as your clinic, I was thinking about setting up a lunch/dinner event where everyone can just meet everyone going through the same procedure.
I'm also looking for a hair salon to have "japanese hair straightening" done (again), I think they call it "magic perm" over in Korea though..
I think I'll get there on Sept. 6th... but I haven't booked my tickets yet. When are you arriving again?
I think I'm going to get a few consultations and schedule surgery asap... but if you find a good salon, let's go together! I really want to get a digiperm, and that lasts like four hours. So does Magic Straight (I used to get that a lot when I was a teen) so we can keep each other company
Anyway, email me/pm me and we can talk deets.
Hi Via,Hey guys , long time since i last post here.
Anyway, I went for a nose surgery on June last year and was very happy with the result!
It look sharp now, gives you that non-flat overal face structure look
Before anything, no I didnt do it in Korea but the doctor is korean.
Here's my experience:
I went inside, he looked at my profile and explained several stuff that need to be done for my nose to achieve the better face ratio.
He suggested doing tip (using ear cartilage) and bridge (using goretex ; shaped customized for each patient not one-for-all type).
I wanted chin surgery too , (he specialise in eyes and nose) he honestly told me it'd be a risky process and need high-maintenance to avoid sagging.
He also said how achieving sharper nose could contoured my whole face.
2 Days later, I went ahead with the procedure, it was kind of scary in a way have that thought of what if I didnt woke up and stuff.
Plus JUST before my procedure, the girl beside me (who just got her stiches removed) complained on how she dislike her super sharpy nose etc.
Which trulyyy making me panickk! But I still go for it at the end.
For the next 4 days I went back to the clinic back and forth to
get my bandage cleaned/replaced, structure removed/replaced, get my nose monitored and finally stitches removed.
Im really happy on how I was taken care of like that.
and the doctor mentioned how the operation is really smooth one and how my nose (have a thick skin, easier for it to get 'modified') .
After stitches off, the swelling and bruising become more prominent.
I didnt look like myself at these period.
But after 5 months or so , the result start to show and I really like it! (considering on my previous nose..) haha.
I attached my before afters. sorry for the small pic
pardon the long post!
@via hey, we have the same before nose!!! I got mine done in may and my tip is still round and not Sharp. I'm glad to hear about your successful result.
Hi FlnxoAw, if I'm going and all goes according to plan I think it'd be June/July, as that would be mid sem uni breaks for me. Hope all goes well xx
Hi cheerykissAnyone else going to Korea around mid July or early August? I think I'm gonna get my nose and eye revision done at Grand.
I think one week stay should be sufficient? I won't wanna be strip searched at the airport cuz my bug eyes don't match my passport. lmao >.> speaking of which, i prolly need to update that stuff after surgery.
hey did u tell the surgeon that u wanted a smaller nose?? what material did u use for the tip?? was it done from a surgeon in korea??
hi, i just joined because i'm going to S Korea (Banobagi Yeoksam) for a rhinoplasty March 12 week. i'm a chinese american male, 34, and i don't want to be bored the whole week! anyone else going there that week? places to stay (they offered a guest room but i'm not sure about it yet). other recommendations? thank you!
I did mine with Dr Jung. No worries. Paranasal augmentation is a small surgery. He did quite well on this.
But i dont think it can correct the protruding mouth though. It can only help to make ur nose not so sunken by small extent.
Basically there are two surgerical methods on paranasal augmention.
Method one:krmei.net/xm/UploadFiles_1002/201203/2012033017392831.jpg
This one is what dr jung performed. this one will make ur laught line not so obvious. But not much change to the nasal labial angle from the side view.
Method 2:

U can see from the picture that ,the implant is inserted from the centre of the month, directly below the nose centre. This one can make ur nose not so sunken.
I believe this one is performed by o& young as well as VIP. that s why their patients showed great change from the side profile.
Dr Jung performed the first method. I dont think he performs 2nd method.
Hope this helps.
No it won't... It'll be hard... Trust me, after 8 months still very hard!I understand what you meant. But I thought all the rib tip will become flexible after awhile. Even in that youtube you shared, Dr Wang mentioned that rip tip will be hard initially. But it ill eventually become softer.
