Tomorrow we (in Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia) celebrate Women's Day, the 8th of March. It's a national holiday, a day off, all the men present women flowers, candies etc. The thing is that we studied at aschool that it's an international holiday. Does anyone celebrate this holiday?

Hi there, I am a Russian and live in the UK. Its not a holiday here which is not a big deal for me...
As far as I know it is a national holiday and a day off in Azerbaijan and Angola.

lol, today (march 8) is my boyfriend's birthday - so no gifts for me! but the other 364 days of the year are just lovely enough to be womens' day, haha.
