Audra Owners- Need Advice

I just received my black Audra from elux yesterday-- what a gorgeous bag! As for now the plastic is still on the handles/chains so this is not an issue, but after it is taken off, where do you place the handles on the bag when storing the bag? I don't know if the chain links will discolor the vachetta or not and am not sure whether I am better off putting the handles inside the bag to store it or leave them hanging at the sides. Or this may not even be an issue at all. Just wanting some advice. The bag will be kept in its sleeper in my "purse cabinet" I pput together last weekend : ) Thanks in advance for any advice!
