I would say go for the Nightingale, it is a classic design that won't date.

Yup, very strong smell...somewhat chemical-ish. I've never had a leather bag smell like that. One of the first things I noticed when I unwrapped the Pandoras that I tried. I've been around new goatskin Balenciagas and didn't notice a smell like that. Could be a new bag smell for those pandoras, which would soften after a while and some air.
