I have a question about what customer service at Saks is like...

This past Feb I bought a MbMJ bag at my local Saks in Mclean, VA. A couple weeks ago I noticed a stain on the strap. I didn't recall spilling anything on it...It's not my style to not take good care of my bags. Then I noticed the same stain was on another strap and then tonight I noticed it was on another strap. The thing about the stain is that it feels hard so I finally figured out I didn't spill anything but that it must be fabric glue or something like. I do realize it's been a few months but do you think they'll take it back?

The bag was $140 which in my book is not money to just be thrown away.

It's been too long and it's going to be tough to prove it was there when you purchased it. If you have your receipt and all tags, you might be able to get a store credit. And you'd have to be super nice with the SA.

I went today and they returned the money to my card no problem. Because so much time had elapsed a manager needed to be called to do the transaction. I explained the issue and was out of there in less than 10 minutes. I had the receipt and the tag. Considering their return policy I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

Good for you. Most of the time it depend on the individual SA or Manager, some are just mean spirited.
