Hi All - It's been a while since I will be transitting through London - and I normally take advantage of the long layover by putzing about town finding goodies that I don't get in the US. This time I am looking for the following:
1. bourjois body care items (ie shower gels, deodorants...maybe lotions if available)
2. olympics apparell :)

I had fallen in love with bourjois gel douches years ago and they are not available here. I'd like to hit up the stores (if any) in London that carry this so I can get my decade-long fix. I recall from last few trips boots etc only ever carry their makeup. Are there any particular stores/locations that carry their body-stuff? I'd be heading out of heathrow on the tube...

Regarding the olympics - I know there were booths setup during the event - obviously they'd be gone. But would apparell still be available in particular areas/shops? I'd be looking for GB things as well as you know jackets or hats for other teams (bosco sport stuff).

Any suggestions welcome!

^ I don't know about bourjois apart from the make up but both Boots and Superdrug sell the brand and are the biggest highstreet retailers. If Boots don't stock them then I can't think where else. Go to a large Boots store (like corner of Shaftbury Ave in Picadilly).

Olympic apperall will be available as the Para-Olympics is still on. And don't worry, it will be available until its all sold. Special trailers stocked the full range as you come out of Green Park Stn (Green Park/Buckingham Palace exit).

I had to look it up (I am more yer over plain chocolate 70% cocoa solids kinda gal ). As far as theoretical info goes WISPA is available; relaunched for trail 2007 and officially relaunched nation-wide 2008. Now I bet your happy!

I was so miffed when I heard they had done away with it a few years ago I wrote Cadbury's a letter expressing my disappointment. Hopefully I was one of many...and hence the resurrection!

Boots is really the best for those drugstore goodies...

I've never seen Bourjois body care in the UK. Sometimes facial skin care though in Boots/Superdrug

Don't remember seeing Bourjois at Boots either...but things do change

Any Olympic sale stuff still available is all on sale - so you could find some great bargains, although it was so popular lots ended up on eBay.

London is already gearing up for Christmas(!) - my Mum bought her Christmas pudding last week and I've started Christmas shopping lol
