Hope this review helps! Sorry for the length, I blabbed quite a bit.

So I just joined “Little Black Bag” this weekend and I think it’s a really fun site!

Every month you are given the opportunity to pick one item from a gallery based on a style preference quiz. Little Black Bag will then give you two extra items that are selected for you to add to your bag for that month.

After your three items are selected you have a week to trade to your heart’s content (trading is optional of course) for other things in the gallery. They have sunglasses, watches, jewelry, bags, clutches, wallets, blinged-out headphones, Butter London nail polish, ipad/iphone cases, scarves, belts, and some home items. It seems like they are adding new items each week as well.

I traded like crazy this weekend and ended up with some things I really like.
I was able to trade from a $15 dollar bracelet to a $70 set of earrings (retail value).
My strategy was just to trade from item to item until someone liked what I had so that I could get the earrings, lol. You also have the option of trading two items for one if you are willing to give them up for something that you really like.

I think the site has decent mid-priced designers. Two of the items in my bag are from Gorjana (Gorjana is sold at ShopBop.com) and Kenneth Jay Lane, (Saks, Macy’s, etc). There are also some designers I’ve never heard of before. I’m not sure where the inventory comes from. Perhaps overstock or last season items? Maybe how T.J Maxx gets their stuff? I have no clue.

I personally think people would go NUTS if they get more beauty items. Or maybe I’m biased, haha. I’m a makeup addict, and I’d love to trade beauty items!

My only real negative is with the selection of home items. Some of the pieces are rather… uninspiring.

I also wish they had a bigger selection. There isn't anything I really went bananas over per say, but i'm pretty content with my bag. The website is new, and I'm sure it will only expand in the future.

The subscription is $50, but I think you can cancel at any time, or just try it once. You can also skip a month as well.
All in all, $50 for three items isn't a bad deal at all!

I still haven't chosen to ship out my bag as I have some trading time left and am holding out for an irresistible deal, lol.

So far I have Gorjana earrring, a Kenneth Jay Lane cuff, and Butter London Top Coat and Base in my bag online. No real pics yet!
