Is it cheaper to buy Lacoste in Paris vs US? Where can I check Paris' prices? Anybody knows how much men's short sleeve classic pique polo costs in Paris? In US it's $79.50...
thanks |

I don't think so, just because the Euro is so strong and taxes are higher there. I know in the UK you can sometimes claim the VAT back, but I don't know about Europe.

^ I agree even with the VAT refund it costs less in the US. Although you may get a few deals if you shop during the winter and summer country-wide sales in France.

I feel like EVERYTHING is more expensive in Europe now. It stinks as Paris used to be my fave place for shopping for Prada and Gucci, etc. Since the Euro, no more:-(

Not cheaper in France! Big letdown this summer for me. I want to say it is because the company was purchased by an american company at some point but really, that is probably incorrect. If you like Petit Bateau, though...I got tshirts for 8-10 euros and they are 40 dollars here.

With all the sales that are going to start shortly, would be inclined to look for
them here in the US. Petit Bateau has great t shirts |

Pretty much what everyone else has said...look out for sales or even check out an outlet location. The exchange rate is brutal right now.

When I was in Paris, the polos were 80 Euro vs. $80 in the U.S. They're definitely cheaper in the U.S.!

U.S is always cheaper on branded items. The classic Lacoste polo cost 80 euro in Paris and rest of Europe vs $80 (approx 54 euro).
So buy in the U.S if possible! |
