My parents went out of their way to buy a humongous Christmas tree after last year's holidays were over. So I'm guessing they're going to put that up on or around early December.

Then we're off to Vegas and L.A. a few days after Christmas. Meaning, no one will be home!! We're probably going to open presents (if there ARE any presents) on Xmas too. Dunno if we're going to have a party or not. Since most of my relatives will be out of town then.

I inadvertently stepped into Williams Sonoma the other day when they were having their "holiday preview" . Omg I had to keep chanting look away, look away, it was tripping me out. It was 80 degrees outside and summer stuff was on sale all over the mall! But then i took a sample of something they had to try.. it turned out to be peppermint chocolate. Oh god that really sucked me into the Christmas vortex. My head was spinning.

I just bought a bunch of melted plastic popcorn decorations on eBay!!!

Yes, I'm a dork! I bought them for the Christmas ones, not the other holidays. Still need to buy a few more. (I have fond memories of these from my childhood and I'm hoping my kids like them.)

I'm also planning the family room tree and hoping to hit a couple of stores to start buying the decorations: multi-colored lights & shatterproof ornaments

We have an artificial tree and a bunch of christmas decorations put away in storage. I can't wait to get them out. Christmas is my all time favorite holiday. It just makes everyone seem so happy! I will spend a weekend with my dad's side of the family and then we will have Christmas on my mom's side another day, and with bf's another day. Haha. We will certainly be busy!

We're going to be in the Bahamas from December 23rd to January 2nd, so I don't think we're bothering to decorate... It's going to be a strange Christmas. But a fun one! :)

i love the holiday season but unfortunately, bf and i move a million times a year.... we dont have any decorations and last year i wanted to buy them but when i went, i felt like they were a complete waste of money (esp because we dont have the room to store them, the lights, etc, afterwards). we didnt' get a tree or anything last year. it was sooo not the xmas i wanted!! haha. this year i think we might try to do some decorating or at LEAST get a tree.

I love Christmas, but hate decorating!! Granted, we only put our tree up like 2 weeks before Christmas, so, it's not like we really enjoy it, but still! Such a pain for me LOL. Christmas is one of the rare times I enjoy living close to D.C. though. I love going to the Washington Monument and seeing the National tree and just walking around. It's also been tradition with my family that when it gets close to Christmas, we drive around looking at everyone's lights. And we somehow always manage to find the ugliest, tackiest, lawn covered in green lights and every light up figure on the lawn/house imaginable home LOL!! Some of the decorations people use, and how many they use, is unreal!!

I've already started Christmas shopping though! That's one thing I LOVE to do, and I love to do it early!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one already excited for the Holidays!!! My nana just called today and told me she bought a bunch of Thanksgiving decorations to decorate my house when they come up to visit for Thanksgiving. My whole family is coming to my house for Thanksgiving for the second year in a row and I am psyched!!!!! I love being w/ my family and having them in my own home is just the cherry on the sundae!!! Last year the day they left from visiting for thankgiving, they all helped me put up my Christmas lights...lol. It was early, but they knew DH and I had never done it before so they helped us out. It was an awesome Holiday Season last year! I can only hope this year is as great!!!
