Your high school memories/stories

wow that sounds awesome. I don't think I've heard of any schools that still have russian! they have german though, if that's somewhat similar? lol I really don't know if they are. I heard german is very tough though.

I can go to Spain for 3 weeks in my junior or senior year, so that will be lots of fun.

My high school memories: strict rules, school uniforms, going to school on sats, meeting my friend at the bus-stop-going to school together-lunch together-went home halfway together-upon reaching home immediately call friend and talk till its time to sleep. and then wake up and repeat everything again.

I did a search about high school and from the list of 31 results, I don't think I saw anything about this. Sorry if there is a thread like this that I missed!

i know everyone says it and it's so cliche by now, but you'll remember your first day of high school (and those four short years) forever. good luck and DON'T WORRY, just enjoy it

i'll come back to see how it went

wow i can honestly say i dont remember my first day of highschool, well i kinda do but just bits and pieces. but i will say its goes by SOOO unbelievably quick its like one day your a freshman and the next your graduating, so i would suggest you savor every moment of it.

I start 10th grade on Thursday...I am so excited! I loved last year, I didn't really belong to any clique or group of friends but I was good enough friends with most people that I hung out with different people every day.
I entertain myself doing strange things, I love to see people's reactions. Last year I brought my knitting in on the very first day and knitted throughout homeroom. Some people thought I was a wacko, but in January I ended up going to the Freshman Formal dance with a guy in my homeroom who later told me that he first noticed me knitting and thought that I must be "a really interesting, cool girl". We've been going out ever since that dance.
This years my strange things are going to be using chopsticks at lunch (I actually haven't used a fork since July 10 haha) and wearing crazy tights on Mondays (we have uniforms with navy blue tights)!
I don't get my schedule until the first day, so I'm crazy anxious to see who I'll have classes with! I did have a few good friends, including my boyfriend, and I REALLY want to have classes with them.

I'm back from school!!!!!!

It was a pretty good day, but I have tons of homework now. yes, on the first day. i'm going to be working. be back for a break :/

I have a funny story.

Today my friend and I were going to the bathroom. This old (like at least 70 years old) lady with a neck scarf and a rolling backpack comes out as we're about to go in. Weird, I didn't know flight attendants came to our school. Anyway, we go in to and it smells horrible. Really atrocious. I told my friend, "Wow, who knew such a little old lady could do that?" We both laugh and gag and then suddenly we hear the toilet paper dispenser from behind a stall. (Here we thought we were the only ones in there!) We both froze then ran as fast as we could out the door.
