i have so many, too many to get into!
but i will say one general thing, i suppose a bit of advice to you, you can choose to keep in mind or not as you start high school :)
i think one of the fundamental reasons why i enjoyed my high school years is because i was so much more INNOCENT back then, and i have a hunch that part of that was due to my growing up in a bit of more an "innocent" time. there was basically no internet, kids having cellphones was unheard of, expectations for girls in terms how they look, what they should spend on fashion/accessories, etc were much lower, relatively nonexistant compared to these days. whether we knew it or not, this kept us living free and in the moment, we made our own fun, weren't touched as much by adult pressures. the SIMPLE things were what made our high school years fun! we didn't have the option to keep ourselves occupied on the computer, there wasn't as much pressure to live up to a standard of looking perfect...looking back now, it seems like this added so much to the carefree feelings of my youth. what i wouldn't give to go back and experience them again...
i realize that times have changed a LOT, even if only in fifteen years or so (god i feel old, seems like HS was YESTERDAY!), and it's much harder to live free of these things. but when i see high school girls these days, i feel a little sad that they have to deal with things i never had to. pressures of being a teenager have always existed, but they don't seem to ever have been as scarily intense, constant and extreme as they are these days.
so, my advice, finally lol- keep it simple! don't let the pressures get to you, if there's one time in your life when you can live completely free of worry about living up to standards and responsibilities, it's now. you'll have fun naturally, whatever you choose to do, if you make sure this modern world doesn't force you to grow up too fast.
good luck!
