OK...the Phillies lost. And this sucks BIG TIME!

We will just have to comfort ourselves in the fact that we ground the NY Giants into dust today (the Jets didn't fare too well either) and well, what the 76ers did to the Knicks? Legendary. ;-)

^^That doesn't make me feel any better. Freaking Feliz! He made a few huge mistakes -- allowing Damon to steal third. He didn't even try to tag him! Missed an easy in field fly, that forced JRoll to try to cover (and miss). Ugh.

When Damon took off for third I think every single Yankee fan had a big collective heart attack that lasted until the cameras panned over so we could see nobody was covering. I was sitting there staring at the TV with my mouth open, Eli Manning style, screaming WHAT WHAT WHAT IS HE DOING?!?!?!? and then nobody was covering third and he made it! I could not believe Feliz didn't tag him - he was two inches away when Damon first took off.

Ballsiest baserunning I've seen in awhile from us - it is the spirit of the late 90s!

doesn't make me feel better either. Im opting to blame Lidge though- I had regained hope when they tied it up. then all hell broke loose, thoroughly depressing evening :(

I have no love for Philly fans (in particular Flyers fans - for chanting "Crosby Sucks" instead of cheering for their own team, but whatever) but just wanted to say Go Phillies! Get back in it!

And that is what I have always liked about Damon. He's not afraid to live on the edge!!

TAKE IT AT HOME

SPIRIT OF 96

WOOO

I really was ready for a celebration tonight, but my husband would have missed it 'cause he was on the way home from work. So they waited for him!
