"Prolly" irritates me too although I don't see that many people write it. When someone writes "your" when they mean "you're" that really angers me, I don't know why lol.

I say OMG, not OMFG, but when I say it I mean "Oh my gosh" not "Oh my God", when people say "Jesus" and "Oh my God" as expletives I wince and find it very offensive if they do it a lot (therefore obviously I don't say it). In real life I always say "O.M.G." (speaking the letters out loud) and I don't think that is offensive since to me it always means "Oh my gosh".

Oops I just thought of another one, when people consistently use bad grammar and make spelling mistakes when writing. Obviously everyone (including me) makes typos, but when people use no punctuation, bad grammar and spell everything wrong that really annoys me and makes me want to hit them in the face eg.

"oMG!! todays i like totelly just right now wnt out to the lv bootiqe today and got a coool new bag it is soooo awesomes i totelly luving it its soooo kool i want mores coz they are amayzing im totelly gonna buy sum more cos dis back is as fit as kwim?"

I hate when people say "RIP" instead of "rest in peace." It just seems so disrespectful and lazy (you don't have the time to write out the words?!), and it reminds me of Halloween. Plus, it spells out "rip," and that makes me think of the person being torn apart or something.

In general txt speak and deliberate shortening and misspelling of words or words that just do not exist grate on me. I don't mind OMFG or JFC, i'm not sure if i've used them here or not, I would use them IRL but on here I do try to censor my language a bit.

I thought of another, this isn't a word per se, but a way people write, when People Write Like This With Every Single Word Starting With A Capital Letter. I don't understand why people write like that? What logic is there to it? It's just strange, and for me renders the sentence unreadable, more so than if they were to write in all-caps.

In certain areas of Chicago it is. Trust me, not the more educated Chicagoans.
Another is when answering the phone "yellow" instead of "hello".

ITA on these.
Also for some reason, I can't stand when a couple (I've heard both husbands and wives say it) says "we're pregnant" like both of them are or something.
Argh.
