Lol I definitely agree.

I thought of two more...when people pronounce "human" as "yooman" and "huge" as "yooge."
One of my teachers in high school ALWAYS did that and it drove me crazy.

I'm in "agreeance" -- it's agreement.

Of course the C-word, ick.

Haha I agree with you on yooman and yooge! I think it's a regional thing?

This bothers me too. It is quite a pet peeve of mine.

My least favorite word is definitely the "C" word, I never use it (and I tend to say anything that strikes my fancy) and I don't want to ever hear it used in my direction.
Yes! lappy and sunnies and piccies and other -ies. It's like talking to 3 year olds about a "sippie" cup!

The C word doesn't actually bother me. I think sometimes it's warranted and that word will bring a man down if he is rude in any way to a female. The look of shock is priceless.

Ha! Ha! I had one friend who would pronounce huge and human that way. Only one! You brought back memories for me because I haven't seen her in 15 years. I couldn't understand why she would say it that way, either. Is it a Chicago thing? She was from Chicago.......

You know ... that word that refers to female anatomy. It's probably the crudest and crassest word possible ... at least here in the US. I've heard it used with less social stigma in the UK.
In addition to preggers, I hate the phrase "baby bump." What is that about?

It's the word "count" without the O.

it doesn't bother me either, not at all. but that could be because it's phonetically virtually identical to the swedish word for edge and i use that all the time so i don't mind saying it at all

i don't mind shed-youl either, it's the proper british pronunciation of the word after all.

i do mind...

-innit
-cor
-could care less
-double negations
-bad spelling and grammar

I absolutely hate it when people say "blates" instead of "blatantly", it is just so annoying! "That party was totally awesome" "OMG, blates!!!!" It is really annoying to hear.

Also when people say "that <something> was as <something> as" and don't say what they are comparing it to eg. "That guy was as tall as." or "That party was as cool as." When I hear that I just want to scream "as what???!!!! what are you talking about!!!??!"
