Problematic is a real word meaning doubtful or uncertain Therapists sometimes use it to describe a patient's behavior when we don't want to say JPN [just plain nuts!]

I'm just going to agree with most of what's been posted. "Moist" (gross!), Warsh/Warshington, irregardless, gay as an insult, "could care less," etc.

I will also add that I hate when people say "for all intensive purposes" instead of "for all intents and purposes."

Here are some:
"I had boughten" (no, it's "I bought" or "I have purchased")
"I had went to the store"
"I was bidden on E-bay"
People who start their conversation with "It's like, you know"
"I just got here right now"
and yes Chag, OMFG makes me wince.

and one of my PF favorites was a post that contained: "I have more smartness than most guys so they don't stay around me"

Swearing in general. Use efing or f-ing, if you have to get a point across. But never the whole F word.
Leave God & his son out of all sentences that aren't specifically about them.

Mispronunciation drives me insane. People who pronounce Italian "eyetalian", my mil does this and it drives me crazy.

I've always hated the word, nook. I don't know why, I just cringe when I hear it.

So do I, because it makes no sense. To say someone is gay may be an accurate or inaccurate description of their sexual preference, but it is no way an insult, and to apply it to anything other than a sentient being makes no sense in any context, so all you end up with is an indication of homophobia and bigotry on the part of the speaker, and a sentence or phrase stripped not only of of its intended meaning, but any meaning at all!
