That and "I could care less." It's "I couldn't care less." Lol.

As for other worse/phrases..."bar none", when people say they have a workout "regime" when they really MEAN "regimen" and "the pictures don't do this justice." Just say it looks better in real life.
I also CANT STAND when people say "i could care less" that would mean they do care about something and are basically saying "i care about that, but i could care less" also "Happy Turkey Day" as if the entire holiday is about eating a turkey also using "fag, gay" as an insult

Ok thought of another one...when people say (or type) "viola" instead of "voilà" when they're revealing something, an item they bought, etc.
I'm pretty sure they aren't meaning "a stringed instrument!" when they reveal their new purchases.

I don't mean to offend anyone but I absolutely can't stand it when someone say they're a "dork". It just drives me crazy!! I find guys so unattractive when they say they're "dorks" Now the definition of a dork is:

dork |dôrk|
noun
informal a dull, slow-witted, or socially inept person.
• vulgar slang the penis.

How did this negative word become so positive? Guys describe themselves as dorks as if it's a good thing. And girls flirt with guys saying they're dorks. WHAT? I don't know...maybe it's just me but I absolutely don't get it.

I agree, I hate it when people have hundreds of huge flashing images, mammouth writing, AND an irritating song in the background that automatically plays - that's a typical myspace page. Oh and weird unreadable writing like this "zσмg муѕρα¢є ιѕ ѕσ ¢σσσσσℓ!".

"Panties". Enough said.

It also makes me mental when people don't capitialize their I's, as in
"i'm so tired but i can't get to sleep".

And also, supper vs. dinner is regional as well...I notice the West uses "dinner" more and the east/midwest uses "supper" more. Kind of like the soda vs. pop thing.

One of my SIL's is from Connecticut and she calls purses "pocketbooks".

Yep, it's a Pittsburgh thing. The first time I said huge (pronouncing the "h"), DH looked at me like I had two heads.

I live in the south, and I cannot stand it when people use the words "ain't" or "fixin to"--both terms drive me crazy.

'Anyways' drives me bonkers.

And 'conversate'. I cringe when I hear that.

And that stupid song that goes "...too late to POLOGIZE." Makes me want to throw things.

On the theme of songs, I cannot stand the one that goes "Should I give up or should I keep on chasing pavements?". Whenever I hear that I just want to scream at the radio "How can you chase a pavement??!! Pavements are inanimate, they don't move!!! If it isn't moving, you can't chase it! What are you talking about?!". Grr I hate that song!
