i cannot believe it's early october, and it's already snowing. keep in mind, here in colorado, this is something we're used to (unfortunately). but i was so starting to enjoy the turning of the leaves and fall weather, but now it's snowing.

ugh!!!

Wow. You guys got more than we did. We woke up to only about an inch of snow.

The snow came too early this year!

Still in the low 80s here in Louisiana. Would love to see some crisp days soon!

where in colorado do you live? we're in fort collins (60 miles north of denver).

those pics are from early this morning, too. not even what it looks like now. i couldn't believe it.

it snowed on thursday but it barely stuck to the ground, so i didn't think anything of it when they predicted snow today. oh well. back to the mid 60s next week though. hopefully the leaves will come back.

wow.... it's still super hot here... though it's supposed to cool off at night later this week. i'm ready for some rain & wind here, though i'm sure the few tourist we have woudln't like that.

yeah, my thoughts exactly.

believe me, this isn't the first time it has snowed in october—we had one of our worst snowstorms back in the late 90s in october. it was horrible. even the interstate was shut down, as well as the mall—and that never happens!

but i guess it's been a while since it has snowed in early october, so i'm a little bummed because fall is my favorite time of year, and the leaves were just starting to change, too.

good news though, it's finally stopped and now it's just wet. so the roads are clear and wet and snow will probably melt soon.

My brother lives in Nebraska and woke up to some snow too! Couldn't believe it!

I was in the Canadian Rockies this past week and there were a couple inches of snow there. Back here at home (still in Alberta) we have a very light dusting in some spots.

Wow now that is crazy! If feels like it is still to early to see snow already! I am just not ready for this.... But yes, it is beautiful.
