btw, it's already starting to melt now. forecast for saturday is supposed to be a high of 70º. only in colorado. lol
Gotta love Colorado! We're in Greeley so I think Ft Collins got a little more than we did. I heard this morning they closed I-25 from Wellington North because of icey roads and fog...maybe we're in for a crazy winter.

I heard that East and West states would have a mild winter and central states this year would be extra cold. I don't know if it was from Farmer's Almanac or AOL but I heard this recently.

woohooo!!! A big storm is predicted to roll into the Sierra on Tuesday and they're predicting up to 5 ft of snow above 9,000 ft. There aren't any homes that high in my area but the ski resorts are getting very excited & so are we skiers!!

I live in New England, and it was cold enough today for the wood stove. I am sooo not ready for snow yet - I haven't pulled out my winter sweaters!

hello neighbor! you guys are so close to us—only 30 minutes.

i know. i had to go down to denver on friday morning and i was worried because it was fog until i reached longmont, then it completely cleared up. while it stayed cloudy and definitely looked like a storm was coming towards the foothills, denver was clear and sunny all day (friday). it was weird heading back north again.

i bet we're going to have a very cold, snowy winter, which is a good thing as far as precipitation goes, but just don't want to deal with schmucks that don't know how to drive in the snow (again). lol

omg, i'm assuming you're talking about colorado, and not nyc? because that was one of our largest snowstorms that year. i was working at the mall in denver at the time and they not only closed i-25, but they closed the mall (cherry creek). and that never happens!

neither have i. i had to go into storage yesterday and pull out a few of my leather jackets and a down coat. ugh! wasn't anticipating having to do that until at least late november. ugh!
