Juneplum, thank you so much for the kind offer but as I live in Singapore, postage will be so expensive so I shall not take up your offer but it's much appreciated. For the past several weeks, I've been recommending on the Beauty Bar forum sellers like Dressgreen, daisycakessoap and lushboxinc chiefly based on the very favourable feedback but it's preferable, naturally, to hear from people who have actually sampled the seller's products.

my Etsy craftsperson, callatya, resolved my issue nicely! She refunded me the purchase price! And she learned about how what shows up on her monitor as one color doesn't show up on another's monitor as the intended color. She checked several different friend's computers to see how the item she sold me looked, and discovered that it varied greatly from what she saw on her computer.

I'm pleased. And Callatya does make very nicely detailed and well-crafted leather goods!

Passerby is like our resident Etsy expert...I rely on her suggestions a lot because I do not have the patience to scroll through pages and pages of their items. I wish they had a much easier search function!

I believe there have been complaints about the search function on Etsy, which in truth I rely on a lot - yes, you do need patience and time to trawl through the hundreds of results that come up when you type in a certain word.
