Normally, just taking a drive and listening to my favorite music lifts me up.

I also like going to the gym

Taking GOOD care of myself cheers me up:

The way I feel after I go to the gym, then I might go to the grocery store and buy only healthy foods that I really enjoy, and make something really nice to eat, and then just relaxing at home in a nice pair of pajamas and light a candle and make a cup of tea and just curl up with a magazine or a good show or go on the computer. Those things always make me feel better.

For me its
Yankees baseball - I have a couple of thier classic games on my Ipod like the 2003 game 7 of the ALCS - that games makes me happy
Listen to music - either classical music or any thing up beat and Michael Jackson music always puts me in good mood
and if all else fails a Brand nex box on Junior Mints always puts me in a good mood
or buying a new bottle of nail polish can always put me in great mood

When I get sad I watch Aliens. I know that seems like a weird movie to cheer you up but I love it. All of Hudson's lines are hilarious, and I love it when Burke gets his comeuppance.

my husband.

he always makes me laugh when i'm feeling sad. especially today since i lost my job.

i can always count on him to be supportive and be there for me, especially now.

To get in my car and take a long drive with blaring music. I sing at the top of my lungs, dance like a maniac and generally look like an idiot.

However by the time I get home I feel 1000x better.

My puppy...

I love her and if I'm upset, I hug her and it makes me forget about whatever upset me for awhile...also the Gilmore Girls...LOVE this show....a phone call from my mom ♥ coffee, and journaling, it sort of puts things into perspective for me. My husband...he's my best friend, and I can talk to him about anything, though I'm really close w/ my family, I've never had anyone who I could talk to like I can talk to him.
