If you enjoy funny novels, try the Shopaholic series! Kind of a light read, but hilarious. :o)
I am finishing the last Harry Potter book. Finally got the time to read it and it's very enjoyable. |

I just finished
I'm looking through you- Growing up haunted by Jennifer Finney Boylan I was a quick read only a few hours, was not what I was expecting, but pretty good. Castle in the Forest by Norman Mailer- About Hitler as a young boy growing up, Fiction My favorite from the last few weeks of reading was: Lullabies for little criminals by Heather O'Neil Fantastic book, heartbreaking and an award winner in Canada. She is a Canadian author if you can track down the book in the US I highly recommend it. I'm working on the Life of Pi right now. |

How is Life of Pi? I started reading it one summer, but never got around to finishing it?
Norman Mailer is good. I just read is book, "The Spooky Art." It was basically his thoughts on writing. |

short stories!
they are perfect for those of us with short attention spans (I will admit that i sometimes flip to the back of a novel just because i need to know what happens asap) i totally recommend dorothy parker-- she funny. any other short story writers any of you recommend? and if your attention span is really that small (the average att span is 7 secs!) u can try reading microfiction! |

I just finished reading The Time Traveller's Wife - which was sad, but a nice easy read.
I found a copy of Flowers in the Attic by Viriginia Andrews on a bench at work (I'm going to take it back when I've finished) - it's terrible LOL |

I was on vacation for 2 weeks and I got into Mitch Albom books. I read Tuesdays With Morrie, One More Day, and The Five People You Meet In Heaven. I would highly recommend them, they are quick to read and when you are done they leave you alot to think about.
